Set ShopStart as your homepage

Open your browser straight to your business tools. Use one of these two addresses:

Browser menus change from version to version, so the wording below may differ slightly on your computer. Your pinned board is tied to the browser you pinned it in; if you use several browsers, export your board and import it in each one.

Google Chrome (Windows, Mac, Chromebook)

  1. Open Chrome and select the three-dot menu, then Settings.
  2. Choose On startup and select Open a specific page or set of pages.
  3. Select Add a new page and paste the ShopStart address.
  4. Optional: under Appearance, turn on Show home button and enter the same address so the home icon opens ShopStart.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari and choose Safari > Settings (or Preferences) in the menu bar.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. Paste the ShopStart address into the Homepage field.
  4. Set New windows open with and New tabs open with to Homepage.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and select the three-dot menu, then Settings.
  2. Choose Start, home, and new tabs.
  3. Under When Edge starts, pick Open these pages and add the ShopStart address.
  4. Optional: turn on Show home button in the toolbar and set it to the same address.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and select the menu button, then Settings.
  2. Choose the Home panel.
  3. Set Homepage and new windows to Custom URLs and paste the ShopStart address.
  4. Firefox can also open your previous session; the home button will still go to ShopStart.

iPhone, iPad and Android

  1. Mobile browsers do not have a classic homepage setting on most devices.
  2. Open the ShopStart address, then use Share > Add to Home Screen (Safari) or the menu > Add to Home screen (Chrome).
  3. ShopStart now opens from its own icon, like an app.

Work computer?

On company-managed computers, the homepage may be locked by your IT department. In that case, bookmark ShopStart instead and pin the tab: right-click the tab and choose Pin.
